"Unknown and yet well known…" 2 Corinthians 6:9

To many, our brother Bill needs no introduction. Through his God given gift of teaching and by his godly example as a devoted disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ for the past 7+ decades, Bill’s impact in the life of others has been palpable....click for more

FYI
Several questions have been emailed to us and we wish to answer them here.

Bill has requested that his burial be a closed casket service and we heartily agree. We want you to remember Bill in his life, not in his death.

We request that no flowers be sent. Although Bill appreciated the wonders of God's creation in life he cannot appreciate floral arrangements in death. Most of you know Bill well enough to know that he never solicited for funds and never made his needs known except to His heavenly Father who supplied him with everything he needed. He did not profit from his writings and refused to accept royalties for personal gain. When royalties were required he refused them for himself, but established a fund for the ongoing translation work of his Believers Bible Commentary into foreign languages. In lieu of flowers or other gifts a more fitting tribute would be to participate in this work. If you wish to do so, you may send a gift to:

Bill MacDonald was known to shun all flowery praise. The guest book forum was originally designed to allow friends and family to send their greetings to Bill while he was living. Bill passed into the presence of His Lord on the evening of December 25, 2007 and the subsequent comments reflect that promotion to heaven. Please feel free to leave a short message of your personal memories or ministry connection or the way his ministry has blessed you. The space for personal comments is purposely limited. Bill's request for his memorial service is that there be no "roving microphone." So appropriate personal comments would be best made here.
(We reserve the right to edit or delete comments that are inappropriate, have hyperlinks to other websites, solicit for funds or are offensive).
